Worked example — 15 December 1981 (15-12-1981):
1 + 5 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 1 = 28
2 + 8 = 10 → 1 + 0 = 1

How is Bhagyank calculated?
Add all the digits of your full date of birth and reduce to one digit. Example, 15-12-1981: 1+5+1+2+1+9+8+1 = 28 → 2+8 = 10 → 1+0 = 1. So the Bhagyank is 1. Every digit of the date participates, unlike Mulank which uses only the day.
Mulank or Bhagyank — which is more important?
