Marriage Compatibility by Date of Birth — the Numerology Method
Two dates of birth carry two complete numerology charts — and long before the wedding card is printed, those charts are either helping each other or quietly pulling in opposite directions. This guide explains what a serious numerology matching actually checks: Mulank friendship, number sharing between the two Lo Shu Grids, the 5–6 stability anchors, the repeated-7 caution, and marriage timing by Personal Year.

| Check | What it reveals |
|---|---|
| Mulank ↔ Mulank friendship | Are the two birth numbers planetary friends, neutral, or enemies? The first and heaviest gate. |
| Bhagyank support | Do the destiny numbers pull the couple in compatible directions? |
| Number sharing | Does each grid supply numbers the other is missing? Complementary grids strengthen each other. |
| 5 & 6 anchors | Are emotional balance (5) and love/family (6) covered between the two charts? |
| Repeated-7 caution | Multiple 7s in either chart is a traditional separation-caution pattern. |
| Name compatibility | Are both name numbers friendly to their own charts and to each other? |
| Timing window | Which of the next five years supports both partners for marriage? |
Step 1: Mulank friendship — the first gate
Each partner's Mulank (birth number) is ruled by a planet, and planets have friendships. When the two Mulanks are friends, daily life flows; when they are enemies — 3 with 6 is the classic Jupiter–Venus clash — the match is flagged as a caution pair. Important: an enemy pair is not a rejection. It means the couple should go in with awareness, supportive remedies, and honest communication habits, because the friction is structural, not anyone's fault.
Step 2: Do the two grids complete each other?
This is the most beautiful part of the method. Each person's Lo Shu Grid has numbers present and numbers missing. When one partner naturally carries the numbers the other lacks — she has the 5 he is missing, he has the 6 she is missing — the two grids complete each other's energy field, which is read as long-term harmony. When neither grid can supply the other's gaps, the couple must build those qualities consciously instead.
Step 3: The 5–6 anchors and the repeated-7 caution
Number 5 (Mercury) anchors emotional balance; number 6 (Venus) anchors love and family bonding. A match where both anchors are covered — by either partner — stands on solid ground. A match where both charts lack both anchors is the traditional major stability caution. Separately, multiple 7s in a chart (Ketu's detachment repeated) is read as a separation-caution pattern that calls for extra transparency and communication in the relationship.
Step 4: Timing — when to marry
Even a strong match benefits from the right year. Each partner moves through a Personal Year cycle of 1–9, and a wedding lands best in a year that is friendly to both charts. A full report scans the next five years and marks each one as strong, mixed, or not preferred for this specific couple.

Frequently asked questions
How is marriage compatibility checked by date of birth in numerology?
Both partners’ charts are prepared from their dates of birth: Mulank (birth number), Bhagyank (destiny number) and the Lo Shu Grid. Compatibility is then read across several gates — whether the two Mulanks are friendly numbers, whether each grid supplies numbers the other is missing, whether the stability anchors 5 and 6 are covered between the two charts, and whether caution patterns like repeated 7s are present.
Which Mulank pairs are considered compatible for marriage?
Pairs whose ruling planets are friends are considered smooth. Pairs whose planets are enemies — such as 3 with 6 (Jupiter–Venus) — are treated as caution pairs that need more patience and supportive remedies. No pair is declared impossible: an anti pair is a flag for extra care, not a verdict.
What is the role of numbers 5 and 6 in marriage compatibility?
In this system, 5 (Mercury) is read as emotional balance and 6 (Venus) as love and family bonding. When both are present between the two charts — either partner can supply them — the match has its stability anchors. When both charts lack both numbers, it is read as a serious stability caution and remedies are advised before big decisions.
Does numerology tell the best year to get married?
Timing is read through each partner’s Personal Year. Years that are friendly to both charts are preferred for marriage; a year that runs against either partner’s core number is usually avoided for the wedding itself. A five-year timing window is part of a full compatibility report.
Is love marriage or arranged marriage indicated by numerology?
Traditional reading: when 5 and 6 are both active between the charts, natural attraction and love-marriage tendency is stronger; when both are quiet, a traditional, family-anchored foundation is read as stronger. This is a tendency, not a rule — the full chart decides.
